Gayle is a self-taught artist.  She has studied under the guidance of many artists in watercolor, oil and experimental workshops.  She is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Western Colorado Watercolor Society and is a member of the National Collage Society, and the Rocky Mountain Collage Society and Art Space.  She teaches experimental mixed media classes at the Art Center in Grand Junction, Colorado and does contract workshops.  She shows her work at The Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade, Colorado and her art is in many private and public collections.

I am drawn happily into my studio.   I approach my workspace with anticipation as if it were a laboratory.  I cannot wait to find out what my art experiment will teach me about the world, about myself.  I must pay attention.
