White Way

collage on masonite (framed in floater frame) 24″ x 32′ $1200.00 This collage is done with New York Times Broadway show advertisements that I have been collecting. I love the blaring letters. It has many, many layers that have been torn and scraped off and added in the manner of one of my favorite artists, […]

Gimme Shelter 1

Mixed Media Collage 18″ x 18″ on cradled board $500.00 I did this collage in response to the theme of the Rocky Mountain Collage Society’s Biennial Exhibit at the Art Center in June 2018.  The theme was Within and Without.    My husband had taken a spectacular photo of me standing in front of the […]

Time Is A River

mixed watermedia on Yupo paper 23″ x 20″ $1500.00 I discovered a new process with this abstract, purely by accident.  I began working on a demonstration piece of random collage application for a first layer.  I scraped and sanded a lot of the collaged paper away and kept on working the surface with liquid acrylic […]

Background Noise SOLD

Collage on Cradled Board 24″ x 18″ $600.00 I did this piece at the same time as Twilight Forest.  Not quite a companion piece because I didn’t use resin on this one.  In fact, it has a very matte finish (protected with UVLS acrylic varnish).  I wasn’t planning on just leaving the text material raw, […]

Twilight Forest

Collage on Cradled Board Under Epoxy Resin 24″ x 18″ $800.00 This piece was done as a collage with acrylic paint.  After it was finished, I gave it a coat of epoxy resin so the dark imagery shines out from underneath the coating.

Vodka Forest SOLD

I finished this collage rather quickly on top of an old one that wasn’t working well.  I used Jonathan Talbot‘s technique of dry collaging with papers coated in polymer gloss.  Applying heat with an iron seals the pieces to each other and the ground.  I believe it the the collagist’s “alla prima” method, since once […]
